Miss Prudence Filby has been robbed, abandoned and forced to work as virtual slave for the petulant actress Chantal Marchant. When Chantal disappears with Pru’s pay, Pru must support her young brother and herself by taking a position as Chantal-hunter and head baby-wrangler for handsome, smitten Sir Colin Lambert as he searches for the missing beauty. Baby Melody is no problem, but Sir Colin is too hot to handle with oven-mitts!
